Dozens of Drug, CIC and Intelligence agents began incursions into various residential areas in Cataño and Río Piedras, Puerto Rico mid-morning today, seeking to confirm information about the alleged perpetrators of the massacre that occurred last night in which a 4-year-old boy, who was with his parents at a birthday party at the Jardines de Cataño caserío, died hours after being shot in the back with an exit through the abdomen.

Ian Olmeda fought for his life until 2:00 in the morning today, when he was pronounced dead at the Río Piedras Medical Center.

In the shooting, around 130 shots were fired, when individuals who arrived at the area in a gray Toyota Tacoma suv shot Johnny Jay Osorio García, 24, at the entrance to the complex, and Jesús Carrasquillo Alicea. Both were declared dead at the CDT.

A pair of brothers aged 9 and 10 were taken to the CDT and transferred to the Río Piedras Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

An avalanche of confidences mention nicknames such as Bubu, Hain and Cuajito, who, due to alleged motives for controlling drug operations, caused the massacre. The agents have entered Vista Hermosa, where supposedly a group from Cataño has control of the drug sales. Others are operating in other caseríos in Cataño.

Another group of CIC agents from Bayamón, under the direction of Captain Robert Ramos, are interviewing witnesses and collecting information and footage from security cameras on Flor del Valle avenue, where the hitmen arrived and fled in two vehicles, one of them in a gray Toyota Tacoma suv.
