A passenger plane caught fire after landing at Miami International Airport today.

Red Air Flight 203 coming in from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, had landed around 5:30 p.m. when the landing gear in the nose of the plane collapsed, Miami International Airport officials said.

The plane caught fire and it was quickly extinguished by the firetrucks of the airport, officials said.

Video and images from the scene showed the plane on its belly being doused with foam by firetrucks. Photos and videos posted on social media showed passengers nearby walking on the runway.

There were 126 people on board and no injuries were reported, airport officials said.

Passengers were being transferred from the plane to the terminals.
