Patients infected with CHOLERA in San Juan

The Government is seriously endangering the people when there is no transparency in health info, data and guidance in the face of great threat of epidemics.
Today We received insider information that there are cases of CHOLERA in the San Juan Medical Center (Centro Médico), which doctors are investigating and have not informed the public about it.

Other Outbreaks can already be anticipated because of the increase of mosquitoes caused by clogged storm drains, and waste water, which can cause serious gastrointestinal diseases.
The government is not unaware of a possible health crisis. Outbreaks of scabies, conjunctivitis and leptospirosis have been reported, among others.
This adds to the terrible statistical management of deaths during and after the hurricane and the causes of them.

Initially the Department of Health denied cases of leptospirosis (Weil’s disease) and two days later the Dept. reported 4 deaths. One Hospital in Ponce has reported 12 cases of leptospirosis, including a pregnant woman.

The Governor must speak truthfully to the people about Health issues and outbreaks that are occurring as a result of Hurricane Maria.
